To Greece = Stin Ellada (in Greek στην Ελλάδα)
We started this blog to share our departure process from Belgium
to Greece with family, friends and all those who would like to follow.
Meanwhile, we have been living in Greece for a while, but we like to continue sharing about our adaptation, about the differences we see, and about our life here.
When do you really leave? When you close the door behind you? Or much earlier, when the dreams in your head become clearer and sharper. When you can gradually formulate more clearly what you do and do not want. Wild dreams that gradually crystallise into something concrete and achievable. Leaving is a process, not something you do in one moment. Early 2021 we turned a corner. A dream became a project. We moved to Greece at the end of 2022. But leaving remains a process. A path that we continue step by step.

Time to decide
We’ve been attempting to restart our blog several times. With all the adjustments to the new country, administration in Belgium and Greece, exploring, finding our way, busyness at work, we kept postponing it. But we are going to make up…
First visitors
In February, our Belgian former neighbours were the first to visit us in Greece. Below are their first impressions. We asked them to write down their impressions in a short text and 4-5 photos. Selecting photos was clearly a problem,…
